Your business might depend on this!the 12/10/20
When it comes to IT Security, only a few words are more terrifying than Cybercrime, Hardware Failure, File Corruption, Software Failure, and Human Error, as any of these occurrences may have catastrophic implications for any business.
Power cuts can occur just as easily as the risk of having an employee opening an infected email. Yet, even though most companies do invest in disaster recovery (DR) solutions, many live in the hope that it will never happen to them. Until it does!
A disaster recovery plan is not good enough unless it is executed regularly. Simulating a disaster helps to discover flaws so they can be resolved before they impact the Company’s ability to restore operations.
If it comes down to budgets, then one should think about the peace of mind that a good DR plan provides! It reduces potential financial losses, negative exposure, liability, and risk while ensuring that any operational impacts are kept to a minimum.
As part of its best practice policy, Oney Insurance has successfully undertaken its latest DR test early this month, giving clear instructions to all employees on how to act & cooperate for the smoothest operation on the day.
