Employee Engagement Surveys (EESs) date back to the 1920s, but their real breakthrough came after WWII when employers wanted to measure their employees’ morale.

Nowadays, EESs have been so refined, that they have become an indispensable tool for any Company’s HR. Easy to create, and just as easy to participate in, surveys today not only gather feedback and data, but also serve as behaviour prediction and structuring, whilst also giving the employee the chance to be heard. When you ask people for their opinion, their insight, you are not just gathering information, but you are also inspiring them, influencing them – and this helps them grow both as people and as employees.

However, the success of such surveys lies 100% in the participation of the employees, and it is only with their cooperation that the Company can improve on their happiness & satisfaction, discover skills gaps, and measure their sentiment. Following this, the Company needs to assure confidentiality, as well as analyse & take the necessary actions.

It is with this in mind that Oney Insurance cascades regular internal surveys to bridge gaps and gather information which will in return help the employees’ well-being.
