Oney Insurance takes to the skies in Milan!
the 26/06/19Last month saw Oney Insurance travelling to Milan for its celebrated biennial learning expedition. 30 unsuspecting explorers took to the skies in more ways than one. The purpose of the trip? To explore trends in innovation, human capital, digitalisation and mobility. All this whilst spending time together and building stronger links.
The seminar kicked off with a visit to Samsung Smarthome Centre giving the team a glimpse into the future with a view on technological achievements and the impact on our daily lives.
The agenda continued at the iconic rooftop Copernico Isola S32 with a suite of international speakers exchanging thoughts and experiences on various subjects amongst which:
- The value of human capital and diversity: Insights by Franck Bethouloux from TGS France
- The power of digitalisation: Insights by Luca Foresti from Centro Medico Santagostino
- The role of innovation in insurance design and offers: Insights by Tomaso Mansutti from Mansutti
- The mobility revolution: Insights by Giorgio Meszely from Gaiago.
During this two-day seminar the team also explored potential synergies with Group colleagues at Oney Data, the first of what are sure to be many successful encounters. Discussions continued over Prosecco and Canapés!
But was this all work and no play?! Of course not! Oney Insurance has never shied away from new adventures and Milan was no exception. The team saddled up and took to the skies for an adrenalin pumping, indoor sky diving experience!
After 2 full days together, we’ve touched ground in Malta stronger than ever and with memories of hilarious episodes which will haunt us in years to come. And of course, we are ready to innovate, create and rock insurance like no other player on the market.
